Maryland

Institute for Public Health Innovation (IPHi) is a nonprofit public health institute serving the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. IPHi works closely with our partners throughout the Mid-Atlantic to improve the public's health. IPHi provides leadership by working across disciplines and sectors to develop, support, implement, and evaluate creative strategies to improve the public's health, reduce chronic diseases, and build community. IPHi is a relative newcomer to the National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI), an organization of 36 institutes throughout the U.S.

Founded in 1936, the Maryland Municipal League (MML) represents 157 municipal governments and two special taxing districts throughout the State of Maryland.
A voluntary, nonprofit, nonpartisan association controlled and maintained by city and town governments, MML works to strengthen and support municipal government through advocacy and the development of effective leadership. It is the only statewide organization in Maryland composed solely of municipal officials and devoted to the promotion of all branches of municipal administration.
