Center for Science and the Public Interest The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) is a consumer advocacy organization whose twin missions are to conduct innovative research and advocacy programs in health and nutrition, and to provide consumers with current, useful information about their health and well-being.
ChangeLab Solutions ChangeLab Solutions (CLS), formerly known as Public Health Law and Policy, provides fact sheets, model policies, toolkits, training and technical assistance to support healthy planning and policy development in the areas of land use, economic development, school environments and more.
Local Government Commission LGC provides fact sheets, model policies and training on livable communities, complete streets, safe routes to school, active transportation, community gardens, climate change and other topics. It organizes the annual Smart Growth Conference.
National Complete Streets Coalition NCSC advocates for complete streets at the federal, state and local level. It provides fact sheets, model policies and other resources
National League of Cities Institute for Youth Education & Families IYEF provides research, training and technical assistance to city and school officials on progams and policies related to health, education and human services.
PolicyLink PolicyLink is the nation’s premier organization advocating for equity in national, state and local policies and programs. They publish white papers with recommendations on equity, health, the built environment and access to healthy food.
Prevention Institute PI povides policy briefs, training and advocacy on a range of prevention topics including nutrition, physical activity and violence prevention.
Safe Routes to School National Partnership The Safe Routes to School National Partnership’s mission is to advocate for safe walking and bicycling to and from schools, and in daily life, to improve the health and well-being of America’s children and to foster the creation of livable, sustainable communities.
